Job summary

Complete Care Amegreen in Pontyclun, Wales, is hiring a Complex Care Assistant to support a home-based client with a tracheostomy and ventilation. You will assist with day-to-day activities and personal care, ensuring monitoring of the vent at all times.

No prior care experience is required as we provide full nurse-led training; experience with tracheostomy/ventilation is beneficial but not essential. DBS check paid, training provided, and clear career growth within CCH.

What you'll do

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Complex Care Assistant.

Our client lives at home with his partner and his children. He has Spinal Autonomic Dysreflexia, has a tracheostomy and also requires ventilation. He enjoys going out to bingo with his partner and care staff, and also spending time with his children.

You will support the client with day to day activities, supporting with all aspects of personal care and ensuring his tracheostomy and vent is monitored at all times.

What you'll need

You don’t need any care experience to apply for this role, just plenty of care, compassion, and resilience as we provide full nurse-led training.

Experience working with tracheostomy and ventilation machines would be beneficial, but is not essential for this role, as training will be provided to you.
