Job summary

City and County Healthcare Group Ltd is seeking a dedicated care professional to join our Complex Care team in Sheffield, with responsibilities in a family home. You will provide compassionate day and night support for a client with a tracheostomy and PEG feeding, and assist with medications, moving and handling, and personal care.

No prior care experience is required as full nurse-led training is provided; reliability, empathy, and enthusiasm are valued traits for building a trusting

Qualifications

• Empathy and resilience are essential; training provided.
• Must be punctual, reliable and provide consistent care.
• Background in similar care is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide day and night care in the client's home.
• Assist with tracheostomy care, PEG feeding and medication administration.
• Support moving and handling and personal care.
• Build strong relationships with client and family; punctual and reliable.

Job Description

What you’ll do

Working in the family home of our client you will make a real difference in providing care and support both day and night. Our client has a tracheostomy and is non-verbal, using a wipe board to communicate. He lives with his wife and two children and he has many hobbies from watching tv and films to painting and drawing.

We are looking for a care professional who brings empathy and enthusiasm to every shift. You will be someone who values building strong relationships. We are seeking a care professional that is punctual, reliable and will provide consistency for our client.

The key clinical requirements that need to be met with this role include:

• Tracheostomy care
• PEG feed management
• Medication administration
• Moving and handling
• Personal care

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

You don’t need any care experience to apply for this role, just plenty of care, compassion and resilience, as we provide full nurse-led training.

However a background in caring for clients with in line with above key requirements would make your application more advantageous.
