Job summary

CCH Group is seeking a caring professional to provide day and night in-home care in a family setting in Sheffield. You will support a client with a tracheostomy, PEG feeding, medication administration, moving and handling, and personal care, with nurse-led training provided.

No prior care experience is required; we welcome empathy, reliability and resilience. The role offers full nurse-led training, DBS coverage, career growth, and family-friendly leave within a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Provide day and night care in the client’s family home.
• Support tracheostomy care and PEG feeding.
• Administer medications and assist with moving and handling.
• Deliver personal care and build strong, reliable relationships with the client.
• Ensure punctuality, reliability and consistency for the client.

Job Description

What you'll do

Working in the family home of our client you will make a real difference in providing care and support both day and night. Our client has a tracheostomy and is non-verbal, using a wipe board to communicate. He lives with his wife and two children and he has many hobbies from watching tv and films to painting and drawing.

We are looking for a care professional who brings empathy and enthusiasm to every shift. You will be someone who values building strong relationships. We are seeking a care professional that is punctual, reliable and will provide consistency for our client.

The key clinical requirements that need to be met with this role include:

• Tracheostomy care
• PEG feed management
• Medication administration
• Moving and handling
• Personal care

Qualifications

What we're looking for:

You don't need any care experience to apply for this role, just plenty of care, compassion and resilience, as we provide full nurse-led training.

However a background in caring for clients with in line with above key requirements would make your application more advantageous.
