Job summary

CCH in Basildon is seeking a dedicated care professional to support a young child in their family home overnight shifts. You will provide safe, compassionate care, ensure the child’s comfort, and work with the family to maintain daily wellbeing.

Experience with tracheostomies is required; paediatric care background preferred. Full training will be provided for additional clinical tasks, including PEG feeding, suction, medication administration and regular clinical observations.

Job Description

What you’ll do

Working in the family home of a young child, you will make a real difference in providing care and support to this family by ensuring the safety and comfort of their child. There is a pet dog in the home.

This is a very important and rewarding role that requires a confident, caring and friendly care professional.We are seeking a care professional who is punctual, reliable and will provide consistency for our client.

The key tasks with this role include:

• Tracheostomy care
• PEG feed support
• Suction
• Personal care
• Administration of medication
• Clinical observations

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

We are looking for someone who is fully committed, consistent and will remain professional at all times.

The only clinical requirement that you will need to be successfully offered an interview is to have experience with tracheostomies, preferably a paediatric care background, otherwise full training will be provided for the other clinical interventions involved in this package.
