City & County Healthcare Group in Settle is seeking a Complex Care Assistant to join our expanding team. You will receive full nurse-led training and clinical support to build skills in complex care, supporting clients at home and in the community.
You’ll assist a client with spinal injury transitioning home, providing feeding, personal care, mobility assistance and enabling access to local health and social services.
Pay Rate:£13.60 Days and £14.10 Nights.
Shifts Available:Days (11:00-19:00) and Nights (22:00 - 08:00)

What you’ll do
This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Complex Care Assistant. You will have full training and clinical support to develop and improve skills in various complex areas such as tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, stoma care, and so much more! We care for and support people of all ages, in the community, and their homes, with Spinal Cord injury, Muscular dystrophy, acquired brain injuries and many other complex needs. Every day will be different. And you’ll never know what challenges you’re about to face next. One thing you can be sure of though, is that you’ll be making your clients’ days brighter, whilst developing your skills and knowledge.
This client has a recent spinal injury and will be moving to home, they need support with feeding, personal care, mobility and to access local services both for health, wellbeing and social activities. They enjoy going to the Pub and socialising with their partner, family and friends in their local.

You don’t need any care experience to apply for this role, just plenty of care, compassion and resilience as we provide full nurse-led training.
