Job summary

The British Red Cross Society is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist people after hospital stays, providing practical and emotional support at home and in the community. No formal care experience is required, but patience and empathy are essential.

You will respond to referrals, assess needs, and follow personalised support plans to help individuals live more independently. A full UK driving licence and basic IT skills are required, with remote and hybrid working options available.

• A full UK driving licence and willingness to drive service vehicles.
• Basic IT skills and a commitment to following procedures.
