Job summary

Creative Support is seeking warm, reliable and proactive Support Workers for our learning disabilities supported living services in Stockport. You will help service users with personal care, daily living tasks at home, and engaging activities in the community.

You will use personalised communication approaches and build trusting relationships with the people we support and their families. Sleep-ins are common and you should be willing to cover shifts across a 7-day rota, with a sleep-in

Responsibilities

• Support service users by providing respectful personal care and assistance with daily living tasks at home and in the community.
• Develop trusting relationships through personalised communication approaches with the people we support and their families.
• Cover sleep-ins where required and adapt to a 7-day rota with occasional early and late shifts.
• Participate in varied activities in the community to promote health and wellbeing.
