Job summary

Creative Support is seeking warm, reliable and proactive Support Workers for our learning disabilities supported living services in Stockport. You will help service users with personal care, daily living tasks at home, and engaging activities in the community.

You will use personalised communication approaches and build trusting relationships with the people we support and their families. Sleep-ins are common and you should be willing to cover shifts across a 7-day rota, with a sleep-in

Job description

We are seeking warm, reliable and proactive full and part time Support Workers for our learning disabilities supported living services in Stockport. We provide person-centred care to enable people with a learning disability to enjoy active and fulfilled lives.

You will support service users by providing respectful personal care and support with daily living tasks at home and varied activities in the community. Some of the people we support have health or behaviour support needs and will need your skilled support to maintain their health and wellbeing.

You will be expected to use personalised communication approaches and to develop trusting relationships with the people we support and their families.

In most of our services you will undertake sleep-ins. You must be willing to cover various shift patterns (early and late shifts) depending on the needs of the people we support, across a 7-day rota. In most of our services you will also undertake sleep-ins for which we pay an additional sleep-in allowance.
