Job summary

Barrack Lane Medical Centre in Ipswich is seeking two care navigators to join a friendly and professional team. The roles are full-time (37.5 hours) with potential for part-time and a minimum of 24 hours per week.

You will be the first point of contact for patients, greet and guide them, and manage appointments and inquiries. The role requires excellent communication, a calm, caring approach, and strong IT skills to record information accurately.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greeting and directing patients and handing out prescriptions, letters, forms, and bottles.
• Booking appointments face-to-face, online and by telephone.
• Answering the telephone promptly and politely.
• Managing patient needs, enquires, and advising on practice procedures.
• Helping patients access the right services.
• Ensuring information is recorded accurately on the computer system.
• Working as part of the care navigator team and supporting staff.
