Job summary

Encompassborders is seeking a Support Worker/Personal Assistant for the Clovenfords area to help maintain health, tenancy, and community access. The role supports a young lady with OCD, anxiety, and agoraphobia, aiming to prevent decline.

Work is 5 hours per week, flexible across days and after 1pm. Mileage is reimbursed up to 0.45p per mile; 5.6 weeks pro-rata annual leave; a 6-month probation applies and PVG checks are required.

Qualifications

• Understanding of OCD, anxiety and agoraphobia is advantageous.
• Experience in supporting individuals in a home setting is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop a positive relationship with the client and assist to set and achieve small goals.
• Prompt with personal care needs if required.
• Assist to communicate with GP/health professionals/housing as required.
• Assist to attend appointments as required.
• Ensure the home is kept to an acceptable standard.
• Support client to ensure their safety and well-being.
