Job summary

Encompassborders in Selkirk is seeking a compassionate Support Worker/Personal Assistant to help a gentleman with morning and evening routines, including breakfast preparation, medication prompts, and getting into bed.

The role is 7 hours per week, split into two 30‑minute visits, with a probationary period of 6 months and PVG scheme membership and references required. A caring, patient approach and ability to work discreetly in a home setting are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or support roles is desirable.
• Ability to work with sensitivity in a home setting.
• Commitment to safeguarding and client well-being.

Responsibilities

• Support client to ensure safety and well-being.
• Provide personal care assistance if required.
• Prompt and manage medication reminders.
