Job summary

Encompassborders in Duns is seeking a Support Worker/Personal Assistant to assist a client at home. The role involves personal care and helping with home tasks, with up to 7.5 hours per week and flexible hours agreed with the client. The pay is £14.05 per hour, plus 5.6 weeks’ pro rata annual leave.

A probation period of 6 months applies and PVG membership is required. The role focuses on safety, companionship, meal preparation, and keeping the home environment clean and orderly while respecting

• To support client to help ensure their safety and well-being.
• To support with general care needs including support within her home to prepare meals and manage to get around her home.
• To support to maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the client’s equipment and surroundings
