Job summary

Encompassborders in Eyemouth is seeking a Support Worker/Personal Assistant to assist a lady and her husband at home with morning routines. The role requires dedication, empathy and discretion, with mornings around 8am, seven days a week, and flexible to some extent.

Hours are up to 3.5 per week at £14.05 per hour, with 5.6 weeks’ paid annual leave pro rata. Applicants from part-time or relief staff are welcome; post is subject to references and PVG scheme membership.

Responsibilities

• To support client to ensure their safety and well-being
• To support the client with personal care.
• To support with application of prescribed creams and maintain/monitor skin integrity.
• To develop a positive relationship with the client and her family.
• To work well with the client and report any concerns to the client’s family.
