Job summary

Skycare in Wolverhampton is seeking enthusiastic Healthcare Assistants to join our night-shift team supporting people to live fulfilling, active lives in home care, private sector, and supported living settings.

You will work under the Registered Manager, delivering person-centred care with dignity and independence. DBS checks and references required; 12-hour night shifts; permanent contract; 3–4 shifts weekly including weekends.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in working within a caring environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Team player.
• Willingness to participate in Vocational Training Programmes.
• Satisfactory Police Check and check against the POVA List (where applicable).
• Right to work in the UK.
• Able to work without sponsorship visa for at least 12-months.

Responsibilities

• Support/assist People in care with daily living tasks.
• Assist with mobility and dignity.
• Maintain clean, tidy rooms and assist with meals.
• Answer Nursecall, door and telephone queries.
• Record daily care notes as required.
• Promote safety and monitor wellbeing.
