Job summary

Skycare is recruiting enthusiastic Healthcare Assistants to work night shifts in Wolverhampton. You will support residents to lead fulfilled, active lives, preserving dignity and independence.

This permanent, full-time role involves 12-hour night shifts (3–4 per week, alternating weekends). Pay is £12.71 per hour. Benefits include pension, onsite parking, paid DBS, uniform provided, and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in working within a caring environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Willingness to participate in Vocational Training Programmes.
• Satisfactory DBS check and POVA List check where applicable.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Able to work without sponsorship visa for at least 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high-quality, person-centred care in home care, private sector, and supported living settings.
• Assist with daily living tasks, maintain dignity and independence.
• Observe care planning needs and complete written daily records as required.
• Answer Nursecall, manage visits and messages promptly.
• Assist with meal times, mobility support, and comfort.
