Skycare in Wolverhampton, England, is hiring Healthcare Assistants to support residents across home care, private and supported living settings. The role is full-time with a permanent contract and pays £12.71 per hour. DBS and reference checks are required. Right to work in the UK and no sponsorship are essential.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in working within a caring environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

• Satisfactory Police Check and check against the POVA List (where applicable).
• Right to work in the UK.
• Able to work without sponsorship visa for at least 12-months.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the highest possible levels of care: assist with washing, toileting, dressing and daily living activities.
• Assist with physical, emotional and spiritual care while preserving dignity and independence.
• Support residents with mobility challenges and use aids effectively.
• Monitor residents who may be confused or have behavioural issues.
• Contribute to care planning and complete written daily records.
• Answer Nursecall, door and telephone inquiries promptly and kindly.
• Make visitors feel welcome and provide refreshments as needed.
• Assist with meals, setting/clearing tables, and maintaining clean rooms.
