Job summary

Skycare seeks enthusiastic Healthcare Assistants for night shifts to support residents in home care, private sector, and supported living settings. Expect 12-hour nights, 3-4 shifts per week, with weekend rotation, in Wolverhampton WV11.

Role involves high-quality, person-centred care under the Registered Manager, with DBS checks and reference checks required. Competitive hourly pay, pension, DBS paid, uniform provided, and ample training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in working within a caring environment
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Team player
• Willingness to participate in Vocational Training Programmes
• Satisfactory Police Check and check against the POVA List (where applicable)
• Right to work in the UK
• Able to work without sponsorship visa for at least 12-months
• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care preferred not mandatory

Responsibilities

• Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting/assisting People in our Care with daily living tasks
• Assist People in all aspects of their care needs, maintaining comfort and dignity
• Monitor and support People with limited mobility or learning difficulties
• Observe care planning needs and complete written daily records
• Answer nursecall system and communicate messages promptly
• Make Visitors feel welcome and assist with refreshments when required
• Assist with meal times, serving, and setting/clearing tables
