Job summary

Skycare is seeking enthusiastic Healthcare Assistants to join our team as Bank Care Assistants. You will provide person-centred care in home care, private sector, and supported living settings under the guidance of the Registered Manager.

Role requires 18+, commitment to high-quality care, and the ability to work without visa sponsorship. Pay is £12.71 per hour, with DBS paid and uniform provided, in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in working within a caring environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Team player with willingness to participate in training.
• Police Check and POVA List checks where applicable.
• Right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including washing, toileting, dressing, and mobility.
• Support emotional, physical, and spiritual needs while maintaining dignity and comfort.
• Monitor residents and report concerns; assist with meal times and feeding as needed.
• Record daily care notes and follow care plans.
• Answer nurse call requests and greet visitors; maintain a clean, safe environment.
