Job summary

McCarthy Stone are seeking passionate Zero Hour Care Assistants to join our care team across Malpas and surrounding areas. A valid UK driving license and access to your own vehicle are essential. The role is mobile and field-based, with travel between developments.

You’ll provide personal care and domestic support, helping homeowners with daily activities, companionship and wellbeing activities while maintaining communal areas to a high standard. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• This role requires compassionate, proactive care and strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience in care is preferred but full training is provided.
• Ability to manage time and travel between developments is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily activities and medication support.
• Maintain clean communal areas and assist with housekeeping tasks.
• Offer social support, accompany appointments and provide transport where needed.
• Travel between McCarthy Stone developments as part of a mobile care team.
