Job summary

McCarthy Stone Ltd is seeking a Mobile Care Assistant to support older homeowners across Leek and surrounding areas. You will travel between developments providing personal care, domestic tasks and companionship to improve quality of life.

This field-based role requires a valid UK driving license and access to your own car. Mileage is paid, and evening/weekend premiums apply. A rota includes mornings, evenings and some bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in a care environment is preferred but full training is provided.
• Valid full UK driving license and access to your own car are required to travel between developments.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised care including daily activities, personal hygiene and medication assistance.
• Maintain communal areas to a high standard and offer domestic support such as cleaning, shopping and household tasks.
• Support homeowners with social activities, transport arrangements and appointments to enhance wellbeing.
