The Three Spires Medical Practice in Truro, Cornwall, is seeking a friendly Receptionist to welcome patients, answer calls, and support front-desk operations. You will rely on empathy and strong communication to create a reassuring first impression.

Two posts are available: 26.5 hours (Mon, Tue, Fri) and 27.5 hours (Wed, Thu, Fri) per week on a permanent basis, with shifts from 8.00 am to 6.30 pm. Experience in healthcare reception is preferred.

Formación

• Experience in a healthcare environment or busy reception desk.
• Good IT and keyboard skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Answer incoming telephone calls promptly and professionally; relay information accurately.
• Provide patients with information while keeping confidentiality.
• Receive patients in reception and schedule appointments on the system.
• Oversee the waiting area and ensure patient comfort.
• Enter and update patient registration information on computerised systems.
• Handle general admin duties and filing.
