Look Ahead Care, Support and Housing Ltd is seeking a compassionate Support Worker for our Learning Disabilities Social Care Service in Waltham Forest. The role offers a salary of £30,784.00 per annum for 40 hours per week and requires NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, plus at least two years’ experience guiding individuals with autism or challenging behaviours.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, implement behaviour support plans, and maintain accurate records.

Qualificações

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with customers with Autism/Behaviour that challenges and Diabetics.
• Experience with PBS Approach.

Responsabilidades

• Observe and monitor customers’ behaviours, duration, intensity and potential triggers.
• Collaborate with community support organizations.
• Provide feedback to professionals in formal settings.
• Report abuse, neglect or endangerment appropriately.
• Contribute to designing and reviewing behaviour intervention plans.
• Implement behaviour support plans.
• Measure progress against goals in behaviour support plans.
• Communicate progress to parents and care managers in management’s absence.
• Identify inappropriate behaviours and help develop better alternatives.
• Maintain up-to-date records of customers, services and behavioural data.
