Qualifications

• Experience of working with customers with Autism/Challenging Behaviour/learning disabilities and supporting them in PBS

Responsibilities

• Support customers with autism, learning disabilities and behavioural needs to live full lives
• Develop independent living skills including cooking, shopping, cleaning and decorating
• Help customers engage in activities, community groups and new experiences
• Assist customers to communicate wants/needs in a person-centred way
• Support customers to manage anxieties using Positive Behaviour Support approaches
• Record behavioural data and paperwork for local management review
• Drive customers to activities using the customer's vehicle
• Communicate with families and professionals involved in care
