Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group Ltd. is hiring a Kitchen Assistant for Aire View Care Home in Leeds. You will support the catering function, assist with food preparation, keep the kitchen clean, and help ensure safe meal and beverage production for residents. The role requires a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and a caring, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

Hold Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene.
Have knowledge of Health and Safety, Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety and COSHH assessments.
Be an efficient worker with a high level of sustained physical effort and able to handle a demanding workload.
Demonstrate initiative and a positive, flexible aptitude to team working.
Exhibit a caring and understanding attitude towards residents.

Responsibilities

Support the catering function in food preparation and maintain a clean environment for safe production of meals and beverages.
Contribute to high-quality, comprehensive service delivery to residents.
Follow safe food handling principles and assist with supply and quality checks.
