Qualifications

• Hold Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and high standards of personal hygiene.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety, Moving and Handling, Fire Safety and COSHH.
• Efficient worker with a good level of physical effort and ability to handle a demanding workload.
• Demonstrate initiative and a flexible attitude to team working.
• Caring and understanding attitude towards residents.

Responsibilities

• Understanding safe food handling principles to ensure high hygiene in all kitchen activities.
• Contribute to team working, respond positively to colleagues, and follow work instructions.
• Advise on supply and quality of items, and assist with ordering replacement goods.
• Treat residents and visitors with dignity and respect in all interactions.
