Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group Ltd. is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant for Edenbridge Manor Care Home in Kent.

You will support the catering function, help prepare meals and beverages, and maintain a clean kitchen environment to ensure high-quality service for residents. Ideal candidates will hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate, demonstrate strong personal hygiene, and have knowledge of Health and Safety practices.

Qualifications

• Hold Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety practices, including Moving and Handling, Fire Safety and COSHH.
• Efficient worker with a positive, flexible attitude and strong care for residents.

Responsibilities

• Support catering in food preparation and maintain a clean kitchen environment.
• Ensure safe production of beverages and meals with high quality service for residents.
• Assist with ordering supplies and contribute to a collaborative team.
