Avery Healthcare in Chipstead, Sevenoaks, Kent is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to support our catering team at Rivermere Care Home. You will help with food preparation, maintain a clean kitchen, and ensure high standards of hygiene to provide a safe and enjoyable dining experience for residents.

Role requires Basic Food Hygiene, Health and Safety awareness, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude. DBS disclosure check will be undertaken and funded by Avery Healthcare.

Qualifikationen

• Hold Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Have knowledge of Health and Safety, Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety and COSHH assessments.
• Be an efficient worker with the ability to cope with a demanding workload.
• Demonstrate initiative and a flexible, team-oriented mindset.
• Show care and understanding towards residents.

Aufgaben

• Support the catering function in food preparation and maintaining a clean kitchen environment.
• Ensure highest hygiene standards in all food handling and preparation tasks.
• Advise on supply and quality, assist with ordering replacement goods as needed.
• Interact with residents and visitors with respect and dignity while supporting the team.
