Job summary

Town and Country Homecare is seeking caring, reliable carers to provide in-home support across shifts including mornings, evenings and sleep-ins. You will assist with personal care, mobility, medication support, meal prep, and light domestic tasks while maintaining accurate records and safeguarding standards.

Applicants should have a full UK driving licence, be willing to undertake mandatory training (Care Certificate), and undergo an Enhanced DBS check.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Hold a full UK driving licence with access to your own car.
• Willingness to undertake mandatory training (Care Certificate).
• Enhanced DBS check required.

Responsibilities

• Assist service users with personal and social needs in a dignified, respectful manner.
• Support mobility and safe use of equipment.
• Provide nutritional support and meal preparation according to dietary needs.
• Promptly administer or assist with prescribed medication and maintain accurate records.
• Perform light domestic tasks and support appointments and community activities.
• Maintain accurate care records, monitor progress and report concerns promptly.
• Follow safeguarding, GDPR and health & safety guidelines.
