Job summary

Shifts include mornings, evenings, and at least one weekend, with pay rates for weekdays and weekends plus NVQ-rate supplements. Training and DBS checks are provided, with travel time and mileage compensation.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with access to own car.
• Male and female applicants are welcome.
• Caring, compassionate and patient nature.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to undertake mandatory training (Care Certificate if not already achieved).
• Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Assist service users with personal care needs in a dignified and respectful manner.
• Support mobility and use of equipment and aids.
• Assist with nutrition, meals and dietary needs.
• Provide light domestic tasks including cleaning and laundry.
• Assist with appointments, correspondence and community activities.
• Maintain accurate, confidential care records and progress notes.
• Report safeguarding concerns promptly when needed.
• Follow safeguarding, GDPR, health and safety and related policies.
