Job summary

Town and Country Homecare is seeking care workers to provide high quality, compassionate support in clients’ homes across the United Kingdom. The role covers personal care, medication assistance, light domestic tasks, and community engagement within individual care plans.

You will contribute to accurate record keeping, safeguarding compliance, and professional conduct while following training and CQC standards.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with access to your own car.
• Male and female applicants welcome.
• Caring, compassionate, and patient nature.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to undertake mandatory training (Care Certificate if not already achieved).
• Enhanced DBS check.
• NVQ / QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (Desirable).

Responsibilities

• Assist service users with all physical, personal and social needs including washing, dressing, shaving, oral care, hair care and toileting in a dignified and respectful manner.
• Support mobility and safe use of equipment and aids.
• Assist with nutritional needs, drinking, and meal preparation according to dietary needs.
• Prompt or administer prescribed medication and maintain accurate medication records.
• Perform light domestic tasks and shopping, and support with appointments and community activities.
• Maintain accurate care records, monitor progress, and document outcomes.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and work in line with GDPR and health and safety legislation.
• Treat clients with dignity, respect and empathy, and maintain professional boundaries.
• Work across mornings/evenings and at least one weekend shift.
