Job summary

Town and Country Homecare is seeking compassionate Care Workers to provide high quality, person-centred support to clients in their own homes in Hawkhurst and surrounding areas. You will follow personalised care plans, assist with personal care, mobility, nutrition, medication support, and light domestic tasks while maintaining dignity and safeguarding at all times.

Applicants should have a Full UK driving licence, be committed to training, and be comfortable working various shifts including

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with access to your own car.
• Male and female applicants are welcome.
• Caring, compassionate, and patient nature.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to undertake mandatory training (including Care Certificate if not already achieved).
• Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Assist service users with personal, mobility and social needs in a dignified manner.
• Support mobility and use of equipment.
• Assist with nutrition and meal preparation.
• Prompt or administer prescribed medication per policy and care plan.
• Maintain accurate medication records per CQC requirements.
• Help with light domestic tasks such as cleaning, laundry and shopping.
• Support with appointments and community activities to promote independence.
• Maintain confidential care records and monitor progress.
• Report safeguarding concerns immediately.
• Follow safeguarding and GDPR, Health and Safety policies.
