CO-OP Funeralcare is seeking a driver in the UK with a full UK manual driving licence. Training will be provided, and the role involves handling coffins, driving funeral vehicles, and ensuring dignity and safety in all duties.

You will prepare coffins, assist with viewings, and maintain records in a compassionate, professional manner. Strong attention to detail and empathy are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence.
• No prior funeral industry experience required as training is provided.
• Ability to use a range of technology devices and learn new apps.

Responsibilities

• Collect the deceased from a range of locations in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Bear coffins on the day of the funeral and drive funeral vehicles.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and facilities, including vehicles.
• Prepare coffins and engrave name plates.
• Prepare the deceased for viewings and the funeral.
• Maintain client management applications and input timely information.
