Co-op Funeralcare is hiring for a Funeral Service Crew in Denbeath (KY8). The role is full-time, 37.5 hours weekly, with a weekend on-call rota. Salary is £25,818 per year (£13.24/hour) plus benefits.

You’ll need a full UK manual driving licence and must be comfortable with the physical aspects of handling coffins and vehicles. Typical duties include preparation, transportation, and personal care of the deceased, while maintaining high standards of professionalism, dignity, and safety.

Qualifications

• No funeral industry experience required; full training provided.
• Must hold a full UK manual driving licence.
• Ability to perform physical duties (manual handling) with training provided.
• Good IT skills and comfortable using devices and apps.

Responsabilités

• Collect the deceased from various locations in a professional, empathetic manner.
• Bear coffins on the day of the funeral and drive funeral vehicles.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and vehicles.
