Co-op Funeralcare is seeking a Funeral Service Crew member in Northampton. The role involves compassionate preparation, transportation, and personal care of the deceased with full training provided.

A full UK manual driving licence is required, and you will work 15 hours per week across five days, including on-call weeks. This position includes a range of benefits and the chance to contribute meaningfully to families saying goodbye with dignity and respect.

Formación

• Full UK manual driving licence required.
• Ability to perform the physical aspects of the role with training provided.
• Comfort with direct personal contact with the deceased as part of duties.
• Professionalism, dignity and adherence to health and safety standards.

Responsabilidades

• Collect the deceased from various locations in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Bear coffins on the funeral day and drive funeral vehicles.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and facilities, including vehicles.
• Prepare coffins and engrave name plates.
• Prepare the deceased in our care for viewings and the funeral.
• Maintain client management applications daily with accurate records.
• Safely lift and move coffins following health and safety guidance.
