Job summary

Central England Co-operative Limited is recruiting a Funeral Care Assistant as part of OurCoop family. You will care for the deceased with dignity and present them respectfully, while supporting families during bereavement.

You will participate in Standby and On-Call duties and need a full UK manual driving licence. DBS checks will be required for new joiners, and training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Look after the preparation and presentation of the deceased with dignity and respect.
• Wash and dress the deceased as part of professional service.
• Attend Standby and On-Call rota as part of responsibilities.
• Hold a full UK Manual driving licence and be ready to assist with the on-call schedule.
• Subject to a DBS check on joining (as of 1 December 2023).
