Job summary

Skycare is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our permanent full-time team in the Leeds area. The role offers night shifts and 36 hours per week, with a focus on high-quality, person-centred care for residents in a busy elderly care setting.

You must hold a current NMC PIN and be UK-based. The ideal candidate will supervise staff, manage medications, and uphold residents’ rights while following care policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered nurse with a current NMC PIN.
• UK-based, Leeds area, with UK experience or newly qualified.

Responsibilities

• Promoting the highest standards of clinical nursing throughout the nursing home.
• Overseeing the day-to-day care of patients and the administration of required medication.
• Providing nursing and personal care to residents and promoting their abilities.
• Supervising qualified and unqualified staff on a day-to-day basis as delegated by the Line Manager.
• Planning, implementing, and supervising the provision of quality care.
• Maintaining the required medical documentation.
• Upholding residents' rights to privacy, dignity and choice.
• Reporting any ill health among residents and arranging professional visits when necessary.
• Familiarising yourself with, and strictly adhering to, company policy and procedure and Care Inspectorate guidelines.
• Abiding by the Nursing and Midwifery Council's (NMC) code of professional conduct
