Job summary

Orbis Support Limited in South Shields is seeking dedicated Support Workers to assist a young person living in their own home. You will provide person-centred support, engage in daily activities, and build trust through consistent interaction; weekend, evening, sleep-ins and night shifts are required. A DBS check is mandatory and visa sponsorship is not offered.

Full-time and part-time roles available with progression opportunities and staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Social care qualifications desirable; full training provided.
• Demonstrated commitment to a person-centred, inclusive approach.
• Clean UK driving licence preferred.
• Experience with behaviours that may challenge.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings, sleep-ins and waking nights.

Responsibilities

• Support a young person in their own home with daily routines and activities.
• Build trust and strong relationships through consistent support.
• Provide weekend, evening, sleep-ins and waking night shifts as required.
• Contribute to DBS checks and safeguarding practices.
