Job summary

Orbis Support Limited is recruiting a Support Worker for two services in Newcastle upon Tyne. The role involves weekends, evenings and nights, with a driving requirement to support mobility needs.

You will work across services with adults and young people who have learning disabilities and complex needs, providing compassionate, person-centred support in the community, with sleep-in pay at enhanced rates where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK manual driving licence.
• Enhanced DBS check required.
• Weekend, evening and night shifts are part of the role.
• Support across two services in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to adults and young people with learning disabilities and complex needs.
• Deliver person-centred care in a community setting.
• Ensure safety and well-being of people supported and respond to behaviours appropriately.
