Job summary

Ceredigion County Council Direct Payment Support Service seeks a caring, reliable individual to support a 38-year-old woman with profound and complex needs in the Perth area. The role requires a driving licence to operate an automatic car, and full training will be provided for feeding and medication administration.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, bathing and stoma care, and supporting social and community participation.

Responsibilities

• Support into wider community i.e. clubs / groups
• Support with going out and about such as going for walks, accessible swing, or drives
• Support with going shopping
• Support with household duties such as laundry
• Support with in house activities like baking/ arts and crafts/ reading
• Support going to cinema/ theatre
• Support to engage with family and friends
• Potential for care support or medication support if required during shift or activity (training will be given)
