Job summary

Elizabeth House at Enham Trust in Andover, Hampshire, is seeking an experienced Care Team Leader to guide a team of Support Workers and Domestic Staff. You will lead by example, deliver person-centred care, and ensure high standards in line with CQC requirements.

You will support residents with individual care needs, develop care plans and risk assessments, promote independence, and help create a warm, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering high-quality personal and social care.
• Experience supporting people with physical and emotional health needs.
• Experience of leading, coaching, or supporting colleagues within a care environment.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, the Mental Capacity Act, and DoLS.
• The ability to support people with complex needs while promoting dignity, respect and independence.
• Good IT skills and experience maintaining accurate care records.

Responsibilities

• Leading, supporting, and motivating a team of Support Workers and Domestic Staff, providing supervision and guidance.
• Acting as a positive role model with a person-centred care approach.
• Supporting residents with individual care needs while promoting independence and wellbeing.
• Ensuring personalised care plans and risk assessments reflect residents' wishes.
• Supporting residents to set meaningful goals and participate in daily life.
• Ensuring opportunities to take part in meaningful activities reflecting residents' interests.
• Taking responsibility for safe medication management and procedures.
• Monitoring health and wellbeing and coordinating with healthcare professionals.
• Supporting safeguarding processes and responding to concerns and incidents.
• Working with families and external professionals for holistic support.
• Supporting recruitment, induction, and staff development; completing audits and records.
