Job summary

Southern Housing is seeking a Care and Support Worker to join our team on a part-time basis at our Isle of Wight services. You will deliver person-centred care across supported housing and community-based services, promoting independence, dignity and inclusion for residents. A vehicle and willingness to work flexible shifts are preferred.

No previous experience is necessary as full training and support are provided; NVQ Level 2 in Care is encouraged and can be pursued with our in-house training.

Qualifications

Good communication and empathy to support residents.
Willingness to complete NVQ Level 2 in Care.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

Provide person-centred care in line with individual care plans.
Support residents to live as independently as possible and promote dignity, choice and inclusion.
Assist with moving and handling duties as required.
Work evenings and weekends as needed.
