Qualifications

• Genuine interest in a caring environment.
• Excellent communication across all levels.
• Team-oriented and reliable.
• Willingness to engage in vocational training programmes.
• Satisfactory police check and POVA list check (where applicable).
• Desirable: relevant vocational qualification or working towards it.
• Experience with the relevant client group is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Care: support residents with washing, toileting, dressing and daily living activities to maintain dignity and comfort.
• Assist with physical, emotional and spiritual care needs and provide attention when required.
• Support residents with mobility or learning difficulties, using aids appropriately.
• Monitor residents who may be confused or have behavioural issues and respond to needs.
• Promote continence and assist with end-of-life care where required.
