Hill Care Ltd. is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our residential home team. You will support Residents with daily living, maintain dignity, and assist with health and comfort needs.

Strong communication and teamwork are essential as you work under supervision to deliver high-quality care in a respectful environment. The role emphasizes compassionate care, patient interaction, and adherence to home policies.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in working within a caring environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Team player and willing to participate in training.
• Satisfactory Police Check and check against the POVA List (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Assist with washing, toileting, dressing, and daily living activities to support residents.
• Support physical, emotional and spiritual care needs.
• Assist residents with mobility and use of aids.
• Monitor residents for confusion or behavioural issues and respond appropriately.
• Promote continence and assist with care for those with progressive illness.
• Record daily notes and assist with care planning per policies.
• Engage residents in social activities and hobbies within the home.
• Answer nurse call system, doors, and phone promptly and courteously.
• Report wellbeing observations to senior staff and assist with bed changes and cleanliness.
