Job summary

Agincare is seeking a dedicated support worker to assist young women with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs in Semington, near Trowbridge. The role focuses on person-centred care, promoting independence and community participation, while safeguarding dignity and privacy.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK for at least 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Encouraging independence and participation in the community.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living including personal care, meal planning and budgeting.
• Support with social activities and routines to enhance quality of life.
• Communicate effectively using each resident's preferred method.
• Promote positive behaviour support where required.
• Keep accurate records and report changes in health or circumstances to management.
• Be a team player and use initiative when needed.
