Job summary

Agincare is seeking dedicated support workers to assist three women with learning disabilities in Semington, near Trowbridge. You will help with daily living, personal care and community activities, delivering person-centred outcomes in a supportive home setting.

The role is female-only due to a Genuine Occupational Requirement; full training will be provided, with opportunities for career development and pension benefits as part of the Agincare team.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work

Responsibilities

• Encouraging people to participate in their communities while promoting independence
• Supporting activities of daily living including personal care, meals, routines and budgeting
• Communicating effectively using people’s chosen methods
• Engaging with people to enhance their quality of life
• Specialising in positive behavioural support approaches
• Recording and reporting changes in health or circumstances to management
• Team player and ability to work independently
