Job summary

Bridge Oak Care Homes is seeking an empathetic Care Assistant to join our team at Greenacres in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire. The role is permanent with bank hours and alternate weekends, offering meaningful daily care and social engagement for residents.

You will work under supervision to support residents with daily living activities, monitor wellbeing, and help maintain a warm, home-like environment where dignity and comfort are prioritized.

Qualifications

• Experience in care settings is welcome but not required.
• Warm, approachable, and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality daily living support (washing, toileting, dressing) with dignity and respect.
• Assist residents with physical, emotional, and spiritual needs and monitor wellbeing.
• Support residents with mobility and use of aids; observe for behavioural changes.
• Contribute to continence care and assist with end-of-life comfort when required.
• Record daily notes and participate in care planning as directed.
