Job summary

Bridge Oak Care Homes is hiring a Care Assistant on a permanent, part-time basis in Meltham. You will enrich residents' lives by helping with daily living, promoting dignity and independence, and supporting social activities within the home.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living activities including washing, toileting, dressing and undressing.
• Assist with physical, emotional and spiritual care while maintaining dignity.
• Help residents with mobility and use of aids as needed.
• Monitor residents, especially those with confusion or behavioural needs.
• Promote continence and assist in palliative care when required.
• Record care plans and daily notes per policy.
• Support social activities and hobbies to encourage engagement.
• Answer nurse calls, doors, and phone messages promptly.
