Job summary

Bridge Oak Care Homes in Rotherham is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join the Silverwood team, covering days and nights at the Silverwood residence. You will support residents with daily living, help with personal care, assist with mobility, and contribute to a warm, dignified home atmosphere.

The role is Permanent, full-time (33 hours) with some weekend work. We value kindness, reliability and a team approach, with opportunities for training and progression within Bridge Oak's caring

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a care setting is a bonus.
• Able to work across days and nights flexibly.
• Customer-focused with compassionate approach.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with washing, toileting, dressing and daily living tasks.
• Assist with mobility and personal care while preserving dignity.
• Promote continence and assist residents who are dying or ill.
• Record daily notes and complete care plans as directed by policy.
• Support social activities and engage residents in hobbies and events.
• Respond to nurse calls and relay messages promptly.
