Qualifications

• Experience in care homes or home care is desirable but training will be provided.
• Good command of English, both spoken and written.
• Basic IT skills for maintaining documentation and updating care plans.
• Excellent communication skills with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support wellbeing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons or evenings as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing and mobility.
• Support clients with medication reminders and health monitoring as required.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs are met.
• Maintain accurate care plans tailored to each individual’s needs.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a friendly environment.
• Assist with light domestic tasks to maintain a clean and safe living space.
• Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client condition to senior staff.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
