Job summary

Helping Hands Home Care in England invites compassionate Care Assistants to join our team for evening and weekend shifts. You’ll help people live safely at home with dignity, providing companionship, personal care, mobility support, and practical help with daily tasks.

No prior care experience is required; we train you and support your growth. A driving licence and access to a vehicle are preferred as visits are in clients’ homes across local areas, with paid mileage and flexible patterns to

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Kindness, reliability and a genuine desire to help others.
• No prior care experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, meaningful companionship to customers in their own homes.
• Support with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Assist with mobility needs, helping customers stay safe and confident.
• Oversee and administer medication in line with care plans.
• Help with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and meal preparation.
• Run essential errands, from food shopping to collecting prescriptions.
• Offer calm, considerate support that helps customers feel truly cared for.
